All About Layering-Layered Lily Card

Well, hello everyone! Yes it has been a long while since I posted to my blog. But hey, I'm back to creating beautiful cards for you to see and admire.

In this post, I am sharing with you a card I created using the Altenew Layered Lily stamp and die set. Let's just jump right into it. So, I enjoyed creating this card using this die and mastering my layering techniques. I used Altenew ink colors, Jet Black for the center and mocha (which you can barely see) for the stamen. Next time I will try some other colors before settling on what "I think" will work. ๐Ÿ˜„ Well, it looked okay in my mind, just so happened, when I stamped it on paper, the paper didn't agree with my thoughts. The great thing about crafting is that it is trial and error. That's how we learn right? Right. I knew you would agree. ๐Ÿ˜‰

However, I used one ink pad, Razzleberry for the flower and I used 3 stamping generations to achieve the different color levels, making it look like I used 3 different ink colors. Cool technique, isn't it?

For the left side border, I used Altenew's Gold stripped washi tape and added gold sparkly sequins I purchased from Pop Shelf for added embellishment.

To finish this card off, I used Tattered and Worn boxed cards I purchased from Hobby Lobby.

This card is clean but stunning in my opinion.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you in my next blog post.

Be Blessed!
